N3on-Hell (Walkthrough)

A product of my semester long studio project. The objective was to make a game in order better our understanding of the modular kit workflow, low-high poly modeling, lighting and post processing effects. Created using unity, modeled in maya and textured in 3D substance painter. This is the walkthrough version of my game titled N3on Hell! 

Gameplay Key:

1. Watcher: Flickers intermittently, white light OFF = SAFE.
2. Null: Deactivates temporarily when Player presses “Q.” Interactions use “Q.”
3. Eternity: Player can approach when screens are green, and must stop when screens are red, else it triggers a fade-to-black game over.  Static indicates line of sight.
4. Dorothy: Two long corridors with multiple enemies each contain a lever. Flick them, then flick the final lever in the boss room to win.
5. Game restarts with “R” key.

You are one of the first test subjects to have been experimented on by the Oneside corporation in an effort to grant mankind everlasting life. In other words, you are one of the oldest remaining human beings left alive on the planet. This immortality comes at a price, however. The mind may last eternal, but the body slowly ages and decays until only conscience persist, leaving behind the industrial shell of Onesides implants. Return to the facility that you were once experimented on, hidden above the husk of a great city. Break in and navigate the city’s maze-like infrastructure to de-assimilate. Use stealth and lie low in the shadows to avoid detection from their countless eyes. Turn the technology they embedded within you against them and hack your way forward. Life without humanity is no life worth living. Cut ties with the corporation and let your body takes its deserved eternal rest.
